The treasury secretary announced that individuals and corporations are able to delay their tax payments by 90 days. However, this announcement did not extend the April 15 filing deadline. This announcement only addressed federal income tax payments and did not address 2020 estimated tax payments, payroll taxes, or estate and gift taxes.

The AICPA has compiled a list of state tax developments.
