James Katz | Director

James (Jamie) Katz (CPA/ABV, MBT, CVA) joined DS&B, Ltd. in 2003 and brings over 20 years of experience working closely with mid-market businesses and individuals to meet both business and financial goals. Jamie has expanded his focus from income taxes and accounting to include business valuations.

As the Valuation and Litigation Support Department Director at DS&B, Jamie has developed a business valuation practice to assist owners through transition periods. Major transitions are commonly linked to capital requirements, retirement, or other, unforeseen circumstances. Capital and financing issues develop during periods of growth or decline. Valuations may assist owners through mergers or acquisitions and are required to obtain certain Small Business Administration (SBA) loans. Jamie works through complicated situations involving everything from legal/family disputes and estate tax obligations. Jamie provides sound guidance his clients by outlining the best course of action - so that timely decisions are made and strategies can be executed confidently.
