Business Intelligence Within Reach

Better data, better decisions. If only it were that easy. But with Nate Moore’s training, you can generate the type of business intelligence that keeps your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in your medical practice in front of you and your management team. Being able to access this information with less frustration will open up new conversations within your practice as you apply your roadmap and capture profit opportunities.

The abundance of data can be viewed as a burden or a blessing depending on your mastery of data manipulation. This session will demonstrate several models to create interactive, customized reports for your medical practice. It will begin with Excel Pivot Tables that sort, filter, group and chart data. Next, Nate will demonstrate how to connect those Excel reports to a SQL Server so that when the data changes, the reports and charts automatically update every time Excel is opened. Finally, there will be an introduction to SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to schedule email alerts and create webpages that show just what you need to know, when you need to see it. With his hands-on workshops, participants can bring their laptops and follow along with the examples.

Now that you have the tools, learn where to implement them to unlock opportunity for growth in your medical practice. In session one, you learned how to create a custom roadmap. In session two, tactical methods to capture hidden profit and improve efficiency were developed. In session three, you were given practical training into using business intelligence to extract the data you need to make decisions and course corrections.

In session four, Gary Cavett, Libby Hornibrook and Annette Doebler of DS+B will demonstrate how you use all of this to identify your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and isolate which areas are your top priority for continued and systematic improvement.
