Marvin Mirsky
Principal
A principal at DS&B, Marv Mirsky (CPA) offers clients almost
40 years of experience in organizational development focused on
audit, accounting and business consulting. His depth and breadth
of expertise makes him uniquely qualified to help almost any organization
meet its current business goals.
In addition to his skills in assisting small companies with financings
including private placements and initial public offerings, Marv
has distinguished himself as a business advisor capable of helping
clients command the change process and create impactful business
practices. His consulting specialties include resource allocation,
strategic planning and situational turnarounds.
While Marv's expertise is not exclusive to any one-industry group,
his work with retail, service and manufacturing organizations is
notable. He recently earned the Master of Science in Manufacturing
Systems from the University of St. Thomas, a degree that enhances
his position as an indispensable business advisor to his clients.
A former partner of an international CPA and consulting firm, Marv
joined DS&B as a shareholder in 1987 to expand the firm's capabilities
in business consulting and auditing. He has a B.S. in accounting
from the University of Minnesota. In addition, Marv is an active
member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants,
the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Board
of Directors, and a member of the Loan Committee of the St. Paul
Metro East Development Company.
In his spare time, Marv enjoys motorcycling. He resides in Edina
with his wife Linda.
