Gary Cavett, CPA, has recently joined DS&B Ltd. as a medical consultant. He became involved with healthcare in 1968 as a Medicare auditor and has been a national healthcare expert for the last 33 years. The expanse of his healthcare know-how ranges from establishing new medical practices to mergers and acquisitions. Cavett's medical consulting commitments address three main areas: increasing revenues, minimizing expenses, and developing operational efficiencies.

Cavett has made it a priority to contribute his medical experience to the Healthcare industry. He has received a grant from a university to create and develop E&M Review software called CodeProTech. CodeProTech is web based and helps providers review E&M documentation while providing education on proper E&M documentation. He also contributes to healthcare magazines, lectures for regional MGMA and national MGMA conferences, and has helped develop the CMPA software.
